On a recent visit, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, and this hotel alone is worth a visit to the birthplace of California. Book yourself a daycation and make yourself comfortable in the relaxed coastal vibe. When the sun goes down, grab yourself a firepit and a cocktail and relax under the night sky.

I stayed in the spacious King Studio Suite, and let me tell you: the bed was plush, the decor was stylish, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and super helpful, making it easy to relax and unwind, and the morning mimosas by the pool were the perfect way to soak in the SoCal vacay vibes. 

3. The food is everything. Start your day with breakfast in bed care of room service, grab a coffee or a light bite during the day at Market La Jolla, then cap off your day with delicious food and cocktails at Drift. Market La Jolla is conveniently located on the lobby level and you can mobile order your grab’n’go day or night.
